Guild Wars?

Anyone play this? its a online rpg game that is subscription free, all you need to do is buy the game, ive been playing it about 5 hours straight today, its great

I was looking at this the other day and I was very interested in getting it, though I ain't heard anyones opinion on it yet?

So you reckon it's worth the investment then!?

Aye, been playing it since pre-release beta but unfortunately i've finished all the single player missions and my character is at the highest level so theres not much to do until they release more missions. Still an awesome game though and addictive as hell.

yeah definatly, very addictive as mincher says, plus only £18 if ya buy it online

yeah I noticed the price, thats what was making it even more attractive as it is not too expensive and there is none of this extortionate monthly fee to pay either!

my little brother plays warcraft world and that looks quite good. he also plays legend of mir. he has no life! not had a look at this one though. funnily enough, his name is ross too....

my boyfriend has world of warcraft and he is never off of it either. I made up my own character on it and get to have a shot of his game every now and then, very fun, I really like playing it when I get the chance

I will eventually invest in my own copy of WoW!

That's awesome, when I get another job, I might buy this. That said, I'm in two minds, because it's an EA game, and they treat their employees like shit, so being in the games industry, I'm not sure I want to support that.

I do like the idea of playing a massively multiplayer game, without the subscription fees though.

I've always wanted to try one out to see what they're like, but I think paying 30 quid a month for a game is a bit sad, and a waste of money. Plus, games like that are total time sinks, I'd rather do something productive.
