flash files to video?

Ive tried the converters that are about, but the problem is none of them will seem to go past the pre-loader on the flash (swf) file

Anyone know how to do this? I cant figure out any way to edit the flash files to remove the preloader and cant be arsed decoding it all and then rebuilding it without the preloader, so, anyone have any ideas?

usually its difficult to convert a flash movie to video file because some flash files may have a level of interactivity involved. You can convert the .fla file to an .exe file using Flash if that helps. I'm assuming you dont have the source .fla file?

if you do then in Flash 8 (and probably earlier versions) you can go to the File -> Export Movie option and you can choose a variety of files including .avi. That might give you what you are after.

The preloader is entirely meant for web purposes so obviously you wont need it in a video file but you cant get rid of it without the .fla file to modify.
