using my computer as a radio

helllo

this might sound a bit daft

however i was thinking this morning when i was in the kitchen and had no music to listen to......is it possible that i can send signals from my pc that can be picked by a radio using my wifi card

eg like itunes can do using the wee adaptor for your ipod that you can play your ipod thru your radio.

any ideas if this is possible??

How far a range are you talking about? the easiest solution would be wireless headphones or speakers so that if you are on your own you can dander round wearing the headphones, or you can take the mini speakers into kitchen, bathroom, s&m dungeon as appropriate

well from the pc room to my kitchen, so we are talking about 10ft

i cant be arsed wi headphones it would be more convenient to be able to play my pc music thru auds wee radio in the kitchen

You get tv tuner PCI cards, so im guessing you get radio tuner pci cards

just use netcast radio like shoutcast or somat and turn volume up if its only 10ft, prob solved
