Keyboard and Mouse problem
I recently got my computer reformatted due to various sound problems etc.
I got the pc back home and now my keyboard and mouse are not working. They are both USB run so i was thinking if i plug in an anologue mouse would that work so i could click on all my backed up data wich should then bring the right drivers for the USB mouse and keyboard? As you can tell iam clueless about computers so any help would be great ![]() |

If you sent it off to be fixed then they may have opened it up and disconnected the USB ports from the motherboard and forgotten to reconnect them. If you have your motherboard manual, it's a piece of piss to reconnect.
I would give the system restore thing a try with the other keyboards and mice you have and if that doesn't work then check the USB port connections. |

Windows seems to recognise that the keyboard and mouse is there in the USB though the cursor and keyboard wont do anything. It also recognises the Cable modem so i think the USB ports seem to be ok. Iv had nothing but bother with this pc |

Well, if windows is popping up daying that the devices have been detected then your ports should be ok.
Use your older devices to get the latest drivers from the manufacturers websitre. |
