DVD Ripping

Can anyone recommend a decent free program to rip DVDs so I could convert them for an ipod, never done anything like this before but don't want to pay for a movie twice frankly.

Handbrake is rather good, it rips and you can set it to resize to iPod format (if the PC version works like the Mac one). Get it here HandBrake: An open-source DVD to MPEG-4 converter

This is good for resizing files I believe (it's recommended as the nearest thing to iSquint on the PC) Videora Converter

GEt the cracked version of WinAvi and WinAvimp4 converter, literal one-click effort and does the job to a great standard. All the vids on my ipod were done using this.

Thanks,

going to go with Handbrake since I heard good things about the Mac version and didn't realise it was on PC as well.
