Did anyone get one today? Are you thinking of getting one? Personally I think there are better devices on the market that do much more, but the fact that it's Apple and pretty easy to use it's going to be a best seller. Also has anyone got an iPod Touch?

As with all phones I reckon that the iPhone will be free on contract in less than a year.

It can't send more than one text message at a time. That's crap, and enough reason for me to not get one.

That is actually a pretty big oversight in the design. Which i'm sure plenty of people will argue with me on.

I've also read that it can't send multimedia messages. What's the point in that? Whoever made that decision needs their heads checked. The best thing is the wireless net access, but even then its on a slower 2G network. Nokia has some better offerings.

I got a touch on Wednesday, it's awesome - but I wouldn't go for an iPhone because of the things mentioned here: 1sms at a time, no mms, not 3G.

The wifi on the touch is enough for me to splash out for it, it's a great little thing and I needed a new mp3 player anyway. Not played about with jailbreaking the thing yet, will probably do that sometime soon.

to be honest, my phone does being a phone better than the iPhone does, so I wasn't really attracted to it.

I got an LG Prada and it's been deemed the iPhone lite because it doent have the same storage space for music but it's not that bad, and much cheaper. also, everyone thinks its an iPhone anyway...
