Yeah, the Asus looks good for a very very basic machine, and that OSX can be hacked to run on it makes it quite tempting as a backup machine.....

Yeah I saw that. I'm hoping with advances in Flash memory that they'll release something with a bit more hard drive space.

as it's right next to the power button I'm assuming it's actually there for logging off/switching user as well as starting the task manager which is handy for all sorts of things, least of which is when your OS crashes.
