mac users help, dock has disappeared and background wont change
^^ it looks like its fucked some how. Can't get my dock back and can't change some of my system preferences, like my wallpaper and screen saver.

Any ideas?

That didn't work either. I'm going to try the disc utility. WTF. It didn't even generate a new preference file. Also the background image on startup is what I see on my desktop once i log in. That's not right.

This is bizarre. I've never come across a bug so stupid, even during my Windows days.

I thought to myself, well, lets go through the process again that cause this issue. I went to a web page, right clicked a random image and set it to the background image. As soon as I did that my desktop changed and my dock reappeared.

Ah well.
