mac users help, dock has disappeared and background wont change
^^ it looks like its fucked some how. Can't get my dock back and can't change some of my system preferences, like my wallpaper and screen saver.
Any ideas? ![]()

That didn't work either. I'm going to try the disc utility. WTF. It didn't even generate a new preference file. Also the background image on startup is what I see on my desktop once i log in. That's not right.

This is bizarre. I've never come across a bug so stupid, even during my Windows days.
I thought to myself, well, lets go through the process again that cause this issue. I went to a web page, right clicked a random image and set it to the background image. As soon as I did that my desktop changed and my dock reappeared. Ah well.
