Metal gear solid: twin snakes

I just read here(no pics though) there remaking metal gear solid, the Playstion one for the gamecube and calling it twin snake. No doubt be amazing, but the games not really that old, they shouldve remade the original metal gear. Anyone else a fan of the games?

I just got a playstation net yaroze and the original metal gear solid. Have to say it is a class game, so many really good elements in there. Not really found much time to play it though.

Will probably get it for one of the next gen consoles depending on whether I can ever afford one.

i have the original ,bought it for the PS2 but since its not compatible with the PS2 memory card, i've got about 5 minutes game play out of it :|
