Flash Help

Hello. I have recentley joined a website and I am trying to pull some of the lectures/essays off it to print, but unfortunatley cannot. This is due to the text being in flash. I tried flash-get to pull the flash file from the website, but it has failed every single time. Can somebody please help? As reading five years worth of essays on my laptop is a testing affair to say the least.

Can you send me the link to the site? The chances are the text is being read from a remote location like a database or a document file.

On the mac there is a program called Service Capture which can pull out information that is being called from a database. It's a great web developers tool. I'll see if I can find an alternative for the PC.

ServiceCapture is the shit like. Amazing what kind of stuff you can find.

Make sure you use the trial first to see if you like it before buying it. Make sure it does actually show the content when you're browsing the site. Every HTTP request is shown and if you click on it you'll see all the information regarding that request including all text sent from the server to the site to your computer.

Can't recommend it enough for web developers, especially if you want to see how complex sites work.

Also very handy if you are developing a Flex based site/application. I is a superb tool. A bargain really when you look at the time it saves.
