Just watched a 20min vid of half-life 2 being played. It looks amazing. The way everything moves so realisticaly is unbelievable. The 1st game was really good up until you go into that other world. Lets hope they dont fuck this one up too.

indeed, that vid was amazing, the amount of interactivity with the scenery is unbelievable, theres a gun that picks up objects and hurtles them at your enemies, it can pick up just about anything! w00t.

graphics = too much for my shitty g-force 2 cos they are byootifull!

But to answer your question Master Graeme---

Valve Managing Director Gabe Newell wouldn’t give out any other specific locations, but he did reveal something of interest, saying “the entire game will be set on Earth,” and that gamers won’t be visiting the alien world of Xen this time around

i read somewhere that, despite it being the coolest thing since sliced minge, they're designing half life 2 so that it can be played on crappier pcs...still, half the appeal is how pretty it is, isn't it?
