I pay $40 for 3 months. - that's about £7 a month, yeah it's not free, but it's got SSL and it actually downloads stuff at 8Mbp (on an 8Mbps connection) It'll basically max out any connection (as long as your hard drive's fast enough
And I'll bet you've not heard of anyone getting a letter from lawyers or ISPs about downloading illegal stuff from newsgroups, unlike torrents. I'm not saying it's for everyone, but if you download a LOT of movies and TV (esp. High Def stuff) then give it a try - giganews do a 3day/10GB free trial thing. |

saw this article > RIAA moves on to a new target - Usenet at CD Freaks.com
which is summed up brilliantly in the comment at the bottom "Well, they finally got around to suing a usenet news server provider. If successful, the MPAA and BSA won't be far behind. I can see a mass exodus of U.S. based providers to offshore countries where the DMCA and U.S. laws in general don't apply. Good work RIAA!" |

i use "ctorrentpsp"
as you can gather from the name its a torrent downloader for the sony psp. works great, not much options other than download a file. Can only download 1 file at a time, but thats cool with me as it runs great and no need to have a pc running for hours "(which i dont have anymore.) usualy downloads at 20-60kb/s wich is braw! |
