i recently (ie about an hour ago) redesigned our bands website - just a quick thing, what do you guys think?

splash page is nice, although the enter site link should be made more obvious...

the page itself is cool too, although you should optimise the background tile a little more and maybe do something so that it doesnt tile on bigger screens, because it gives the site a distorted look...

make the navigation on the left easier to read, darker text on the light background would do the trick...

other than that, its a good effort

remember, a web site is one of the first points of contact when seeking to promote yourself, so do a good job.

I agree with KJ, you'd be best to scrap the tiling image. Contain your whole page in a fixed size table ( around 700px width)

And instead of using a full frame set use iframes. That way you won't get a scroller the full height of the window and you have more control over the width and height.

To summarize make your whole page bgcolor 'black'

Create a table of adequeate height and width with 2 rows ( 1st row spanning 3 columns) 2nd row having 3 columns.
Put your links and bg image in the left hand cell, your iframe in the center cell and your right hand image in the right hand cell

Alternatively you could use your current frameset and get rid of the tiling images. Just have the bgcolor of the main frame as black with no images and keep the links frame as it is. it's up to you. But remember some of us out here are color blind.

Finally put a link to Tear Jerk on your links page
