Dance floor

If the fantasy bar has some money to spend they should think about sorting the dance floor out if it is going to be a cages venue for a while. Its just at the moment coz it is raised you can't really get that many people on the dance floor. Also the polls don't help either. Some times when the dance floor is busy and your really drunk, you have to remember that its raised so you don't trip up.

It's definitely necessary to exercise some caution to avoid falling on your backside. As well as trying to avoid falling off the funny shaped bits, there are usually plenty of cables to trip over too. It's lucky that I'm always driving or I'd be in big trouble after a few gins.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more people falling off the dance floor actually. And the poles have to go! Its far too tempting after you've had a few to dance round them and make a tit of yourself

There are already too many people falling over for their own entertainment, nowhere near the dancefloor.
Maybe if the DJ played a good jumping around song and then everybody pogo'd in sync then we could lower the stage a few inches. It's worth a try.

imo the dance floor should at least be extented to fill in the corner on the left (towards the toilet) and have the two remaining poles removed.

Ok, spoke to Brian, first of all the sound equipment is being upgraded, then the dancefloor is next, the poles will probably be removed very soon (next week or so) and I'll discuss the dancefloor with the owners once they get the money together.
