This time we've got giveaways from the lovely people at Fat Wreck Chords. A load of the new "Floyd" samplers with tracks from Descendents, Subhumans, Anti-Flag, Lagwagon, etc. Rock Against Bush II posters and postcards. Usual story - ask at the DJ booth - first come, first served. This is to tie in with the release of the "Rock Against Bush vol. II" CD + DVD. More info here:

The tenebrae track's by a band called Only Crime - members of Bane, Good Riddance and The Descendents. Melodic hardcore stuff. Pretty good. I don't know if it's the same thing you thought it was?

Not that I know of. It's not a saturday so it's not "old-school metal crowd night" and I don't think there's a late licence this time.

Thanks to everyone who came along and asked for good tunes etc. Special thanks to Baz for copying me some superb albums. No thanks to the knob end who broke stuff in the gents toilets. Other people have to use them and if it keeps up we run the risk of the venue getting annoyed so don't so it and if you see someone doing it please tell Doug or I, a member of security or bar staff. Cheers.

This weeks "are they punk or not?" request debate - the Pixies.

Don't get me wrong, I love the PIxies, but surely more of an indie band? Try telling folk that! Oh yeah, Amen aren't punk either. They're a crap metal band with an Iggy Pop wannabe for a singer.

Next Entropy is on Friday, 17th September.
