People have to understand that the pub may play metal, but it doesn't have to look like a toilet or batcave to be a metal pub.

Its all about attracing new customers. The more money the pub makes the better the facilities will get. The way it was it was barely making a profit week to week. I think now that it doesn't look like a health hazard more people will start to come along.

yeah i agree that the bar looks much better but the colour im not so keen on. admittedly everytime ive been on a saturday ive had a good time but i think thats coz theres more ppl there and a better variety of music than on any other night. on other nights though the pub just isnt as good as it was or maybe i just dont enjoy it the same.

I agree with you 100% sam. During the week the pub is a stay clear zone as its bloody boring. Hopefully stuff will get planned for the midweek days.

I never go out during the week anymore so it really doesn't affect me. I just want to make sure the pub is at its best at the weekend.

The pub was really busy on Saturday with a lot of old and new faces and it was a great atmosphere.

I believe I shall be getting a DJ booth built upstairs so I don't have to DJ from behind the bar anymore. BONUS!

As for the vampire lot, they stopped frequenting the balcony a long time ago.

i used to go out during the week but very rare now with working in the pub as well as my full time job. its prob mostly due to thinking that i needed to go out and get pissed to have a good time but i sometimes have a better weekend if i stay in nowadays. thats what love does to u, eh?

I'll just do what i did when i DJ'd upstairs before. Get someone else to go to the bar for me

Yeah there are no "vampires" there now.

I had a run in with one of the guys from that vampire club in the cotton club one night. He kept going on about his vampire night, and trying to threaten me to go his vampire night. Eventually when I said I wouldn't go he said "my son is in the satans slaves, so you're going to my night, aren't you?"

Apparently he tried the exact same threats on Matt the DJ, (it was Sin that night), in order to get him to DJ the vampire night.

yeah ive heard some shocking stories, one good one being that the vamp club mostly moved through to edinburgh.

like i say, ive nothing against them, some of the blokes that used to do it are sound as a pound, it just seemed to be the "ring leaders" that were bothering me.

well knowing all this, i might give the balcony a visit sometime.

Also the guy, or his girlfriend at the time, I forget which, told my friend that she has lovely veins.

They used to have a website and everything, but I can't find it for the life of me now.
