I'm doing King Lear and Hamlet for my essay in Advanced Higher, Heaney is only if i really really have to or the question is easy as fuck cos I really don't like the poems much and paid more attention to the teacher who taught us Shakespeare.
I need a C to get into Bournemouth but don't need to pass it to get into RGU so it looks like I'm heading up north since my dissertation was hideously short. |

Eugh Eugh Eugh. I can't stand Thomas Hardy. When I was doing my AH English we studied King Lear + Hamlet as our plays, Tess + Mayor of Casterbridge as our novels and John Donne and a couple of other metaphysical poets for the poetry section. I really liked AH english apart from the novel section. |

i dont like the way english is in school..i hate it how there is a right and wrong way to interprate (spelling!?) passages..i usually get the toally wrong idea and its not what the fucking exam board is looking for. i'm only doing int 2 this year then higher in the next year..can not wait.. i do think its good to spread it over 2 years tho.. you end up knowing a wee bit more than the higher folk ![]() |
