How to Build a Universe That Doesn't Fall Apart Two Days Later

It deals with two questions. "What is reality?" and "What constitutes the authentic human being?"

The former is philosophically pondered, with references to unbelievable coincedences but unfortunately lapses into his religious beliefs, which is eventually (effectively) where his answers lie. His conclusions is, for the most part, religiously motivated but acheived with logic. He references pre-socratic philosophers as well as more popular figures such as Plato and erm... Jesus.

The latter question is only brushed upon, compared to the text given to the previous question, but is the one with interested me the most.

I stumbeld across this essay by accident while reading the xkcd.com forums regarding a crypogaphy comic (weird, and I didnt understand).

I like XKCD...but i'm a geek.

I think I'll give this a read through when I get home. Pipkydick's writings have always interested me.
