So what did you guys make of Falkirk?
Alright guys,
I take it you made the train..... :-) I'm sure I saw Crabs out of the corner of my eye legging it in and back out with something that was forgotten. The venue itself could be excellent if there were more folk there, could you imagine it if there were a couple of hundred folk in there,it would be magic. Saying that we thought we played a pretty decent set on the night and you guys were excellent , only thing I would say is maybe you need electric shock treatment before you go on Deeker to hype you up a bit.....yer a bit laid back are you not Seriously though we enjoyed yer set and yer antics definately a 10/10 for scaring the locals :-) I'm still working on a date for Bo'ness but the guy who owns the pub is hard to get a hold of sometimes. Later, Ali. |

Hey man.
I thought Falkirk was pretty good. I had a great time. The sound and the stage was excellent and everything was really well handled. It's just a pity that there was nobody there to see it! If that place was busy, as you said, it would be absolutely amazing. Maybe we can get something set up where we get a bunch of Falkirk bands and a bunch of Stirling bands and have a face-off, bring as many people as possible and have some kind of crossover evening. Get like 8 bands or something, get everybody to pimp the show and get loads of folks in there. The locals may end up baying for blood, but it'd be quality! I really enjoyed SLK. The new song (s?) were sounding great, and your new guitarist really adds depth to the sound. I'm looking forward to playing with you guys again. And, yeah, I shouldn't have smoked so much pot before I went on - staying rooted to the spot doesn't satisfactorily compliment my chi! Looking forward to Bo'ness - the sooner the better for me! Although, we can't play any shows between the 25th of October and the 5th of November, because Costas is going to Brighton to see his bro and watch Tomahawk! Just let me know man and we'll be there in a shot. PS - Crabs got a Marshall stack off ebay for £190!!! |

You've maybe got a point with regard to the face off at least the place
might get filled and the venue could be used and abused properly Glad you liked the new songs they are really coming together and the extra guitar really makes a difference to the sound. Still not had a date confirmed for Bo'ness but not from the lack of trying. What did he get 100w 150w that's not a bad price at all.... Speak to you shortly, Ali. |

Hi Deeker,
Got a couple of questions for you: At the yard what is the size of the PA and does it have monitors? Will there be a kit there? Politics ? e.g Snare /Hardware usual crack. Cheers, Ali. |

Hey Deeker,
How goes it,I have had a provisional date for 8th November for the Bo'ness mayhem,I got it put back so it is after the 5th. I believe that was the last commitment you guys had,I will get this date confirmed can you confirm this is ok for you guys it is a Saturday night.... Also what's the size of the PA at the Yard and does it have extra outputs for a monitor as Jimbo wants to bring a powered monitor so he can hear what's going on.....he's getting on a bit you see and the hearing isn't what it once was Get back to me man.... Later, Ali. |

Hey man.
Bo'ness sounds quality. The only problem I can think of it transport, but I think that I can maybe chat up a buddy for a lift. I'm looking forward to the mayhem, I'm sure it's something that we'd be most confortable with. The PA in the Yard isn't massive. Having monitors would probably be a good idea. I'll check with the Mafioso and get back to you about that one though, I wouldn't want to write a cheque with my mouth that I just can't cash. Gimme a day or two and confirmation shall be yours! Cheers buddy |
