i still dont know what alex said that was so out of line to start with, i think i'd be pretty pissed off if people with totally misguided opinions criticised a review i'd written.

i dont give a shit what alex said about any band, its no excuse to have a go at him personally, if you are having fun making music then you wouldnt care what an individual had to say.
alex is a respected musician and writer, you are just bitter because someone who isnt a complete idiot has found their way into your little "scene" and you arent indestructable anymore, it shouldnt make what you are doing any less fun.
i have respect for alex for still coming here and still saying his piece, thats what this forum is for, isnt it? i for one would like to see more alex's and less annoying little shites with nothing to say and no knowledge to base any attempted speech on anyway.
my opinion of alex wouldnt be changed in the slightest if he tore a band i was in apart, because i have fun making music and impressing people isnt the point.

i don't even know the Spaceman guys...sure, everyone is entitled to an opinion, it's basically just a matter of being respectful about it or being a knob about it - that's why he's built a reputation as a knob - he probably doesn't care, it is his opinion after all, that's fair enough, but that's the way it is - you be a knob, you gain the rep as a knob.

yes i would.

i think alex went beyond the professional stance a long time ago.

i dont think this is about this is about being jealous of someone better then us (my personal point) i learned very quickly that i was quite a bad muscian and that alot of people are better then me... tho when this happens i enjoy their music, ideas etc. i dont not listen to a commerical band because they are big and im not.
i think the fact that you are lowering urself to using terms like "little shites" shows how little "knowledge" you have.

again this isnt about his reviews, dealing with peoples opinions etc is a daily thing, usually howver they have helpful critism in them, not just half hearted attacks at the general media of the band.

however i also feel that this arguement has gone on long enough and would like all parties to stop this. starting with myself
