Metallica, Madonna, Blink 182 and now The Offspring!
well kinda... All the above's first single releases were really awful considering their backlog... anyway, I think this new Offspring song "Hit That" is pretty good, but it sounds like a pre-school song or something for whatever beat they used in the verses... Tell me what you think;

yup! the first new single from the new CD! "Splinter" out Dec 09th... This is the first single which hit mainstream radio in America/Europe a few hours ago [hence the german dj!]... Although, this cd does have the amazing "defy you" on it and the track "Da Hui" - right click, save as here to download it is kinda cool! |

Blink's new song is isn't it?... They should stick the formula of heavy chorus and light verses but instead instead it's the other way around, the video doesn't help either... This always happens when artists spend a year [yes, a year] trying to come up with "something totally new that you've never heard before"... and it just sucks because they spend so long trying to not be "clicé" or "contradict themselves" and it just sounds so stupid afterwards because they're tried to hard and drained the fun from it... Dude Ranch, Enema Of The State & Take Off Your Pants And Jacket were recorded in 6 weeks each and every Blink fan loved it, now they're not too sure... Same thing happened with Green Day's Warning cd, Metallica's St. Anger, KoRn's Untouchables, etc...
