while on a jaunt to london the other day, i purchased the glorious publication "take a break" for the hard hitting stories of people just like you and i, and the puzzles.

i was looking at the problem page, and came across this letter.

this poor woman obviously needs some sound advice, and i thought you people cold help her out.

"MY DAD SPANKED ME"

i'm so confused. when i was growing up my father would spank me really hard if i was very naughty. then he would hug me better. i know the spanking was a punishment, but i liked it. i'd sometimes misbehave just so that my dad would do it. this went on throughout my teens.
i loved my father very much. but after i got married and had children., i thought no more about being spanked. now my kids are grown up, and my husband is impotent. i;ve taken to giving myself pleasure. my religion thinks of this as a sin and my need to be spanked has returned.
i can't tell my priest about these feelings. i'm too ashamed. i feel that i must be mad for wanting to be spanked. i often wonder is i should take my own life. please help

suicide is the biggest sin of all! how is that an answer to wanting to be spanked?? especially since she has a husband and kids.
