At The Drive In

I heard a rumour recently that At The Drive In may reform next year. Has anyone else heard this? In my opinion, although Sparta and The Mars Volta are individually excellent bands, I would love to see ATDI get back together. Any views?

their all doing other stuff now, I know someone that just interviewed Cedric and he was sounding like he was really happy to have moved on apparently. Hope they do though

Yeah But what if they did?

Would they sound as good? or better cus they had a little time away from each other???

I saw sparta at the garage in highbury, they were fekin ace... wish i had seen ATDI too.

I think they'd be even better than before because they would probably bring in ideas from both the current bands and fuse them or sumthin like that. Or they may just be amazing.

I get what your all saying about how one great band became two greater bands and how marvelouse it would be for them to re-form. But I hope they dont. I love Sparta as well as Mars Volta. I want to see how they develop individually. They have different styles now though a connection is still obvious. Let em roll.

Sorry to piss on your chips, but the impression i've got from interviews with the Mars Volta is that there's no way in hell they'd ever get At The Drive In back together. I don't think they like Sparta a great deal, and i got the impression they weren't really speaking anyway.

Would be nice to be proved wrong, but i've already seen them so probably wouldn't go along
