any one else had probs

fitting in at college??

for some unknown reason my class absolutly hate me.

and they dont try and hide it

for example my corse has alot of group work

i do it all on my own and not by choice

and another example they are doing a secret santa....yes THEY are doing one im not...

i could go on for ages but i wont

so any one else experienced this??

i know how u feel,
thats happened to me before.
ignore em and get on with ur work, i did, and i got a hell of alot done coz i wasnt arsin around like the rest of em. not everyone is like that tho.

the worst ones are like 40
but the rest just follow along
the lecturer has started to notice and just remind them that its group work but that makes no difference
but they were quick enough to pick up on my "dampend attitude"
so i really just give up
now i do most of the work at home and just dont bother going in
either that or drop out

my mum lecturs at nursing but its in dundee.
dont let them get to you, thats or spk to yer lectuar.
if this is the carear u want to do then u cant miss out becos of some pathetic old ladies!it wood be such a waste

i know but at least i wont be in their class next year

im doing midwifery prob in dundee

and they doing general nursing in aberdeen

speaking to lectures dont work

so instead i go in sit on my own study on my own do projects on my own

have lunch on my own

its actually just really started getting to me.

When i started uni i did everything on my own, lunch usually involved walking around town on my own and banging into morven a couple of times. Its kinda shit but you can get over it, i've got loads of mates here now.

im the same at uni, ive got 1 person that ill speak to in my class but its not like i would hang abt wi him between periods and go out for piss ups wi him, my lunch hours are normally spent in the computer rooms fannying abt and occasionally ill walk into and buy myself something. i felt like shit at the start of the year cos of this but now i think its perfectly normal and dont care

im just gonna echo what everyone else has said. dont give in because of them. do you like metal? if so you should check out the hatebreed album perseverance. it has some inspirational lyrics. might help a bit.
