In an interview, Bush once cited "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" as his favourite book from childhood. He was born in 1946 [ source, http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/documen...e_w_bush.shtml ] , and the book was first published in the US in 1969. [ source - the back of the book, which is currently lying on my bed ]

This would mean that George W Bush was 23 years old when he first read his favourite childhood book.

Something not right there, huh?

Mark E Smith from the fall did something like that too, he pasted a bunch of quotes together that totally contradicted each other. his record label wouldnt let him release it on an album so he scrapped the whole record, john peel played it though.
