Giving The Cameras The Finger? Youthful exuberance or downright rude?

Now...weve all seen them. You know who im talking about. All those scruffy musician types thrusting their digits skywards everytime a photographer points his camera at them!

The thing is most of thes people are generally talented , intelligent people capable of penning works of beauty so why do they insist on giving everybody the bird?

Its certainly not big nor clever!

So....any ideas what compels them so???
