"Industry sources say that there is a distinct possibility that the WWE will sign Ken Shamrock again, as well as Tito Ortiz. Dan Severn and 'Tank' Abbott may also be given offers as well.
According to these sources, Shamrock would be set to take on Kurt Angle and defeat him in a pro-wrestling match. At the end of the fight, Tito Ortiz would jump into the ring and mock Shamrock, which will set up a showdown between Shamrock and Ortiz at a future WrestleMania PPV. Further fuel to this rumor is also added by the fact that Ortiz has been seen more and more at over the past few months at WWE shows. He has even been seen getting into the ring during a live telecast and joining the post-match celebration. Whether the fight between Shamrock and Ortiz would be an MMA-rules shoot-fight or a pro-wrestling match is not certain at this point." From www.rajahwwf.com I think this could be a very good angle producing some quality matches. Apart from Tank who is very much just a Hard fat bastard Shamrock and tito are quality athletes that would mix extremely well with Angle, Brock and Beniot. Hell the Fued between Shamrock and Tito that climaxed at UFC 40 "Vendetta" was Fucking "A". It had a great build up,and seemed like a rocky film yet it was still supeior to anything the wwe has done in a long long time. Anyone notice that i've got my booking head on today? ![]() |

You certainly do my little super hero in training. Shamrock yes I can see that happen and possibly even Tito. The worked-shoot match could definently draw a lot of interest. i dont see Tank coming thought. Hes making too much money in Japan to come to the WWE and have to start again and get over.
Also Im not really so sure that the WWE core audience would care very much about these MMA guys or appreciate them too much. Shoot fighting to pro wrestling isn't an easy jump to make either. Look at Dan Severn. And also why would a UFC guy want to job to a guy like Benoit. Wouldnt it hurt his credibility? And if Tito is the best in the world at fighting then why is he having trouble beating HHH, and so on. |

Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn are awsome in the UFC. I remember i saw Dan Severn suplex a guy 3 times in a row without letting go of him.
