Post Sainsburys got hip!

yes they did the playlist that they have ran there for years has gone now woohoo i cried but its still almost the same apart from on walkin to my checkout i realised they were playign alive by pearl jam i smiled and had a merry little sing along and was happy for the rest of the evening that at my work they played one decent song! i dont knwo why alive by pearl jam was chosen but it was a damn good choice congrats to john sainsbury

Excellent! Im sure Ed ved would be well impressed that his music had reached the heart of mr J "Corporate" Sainsury. Lol. Sorry for the cynicism, its an all time fave song of mine, things like that really do make you smile. I remember walking into a guitar shop once and kickstand was on by Soundgarden. I was happy for the rest of the day.

it makes a diffrence hearing quality rock at work even if it is one song as it breaks up the customary sainburys ballads tape makes me shudder every time

at tk maxx we used to get 'we built this city on rock n' roll' and 'my sharona'! but then it got all modern on our ass and they play morcheeba n shit like that.
