What a night Sunday was.
Did anyone watch Football Italia on Sunday? It was the most exciting fotball I have seen since the Man U beat Aston Villa in the cup (they came to win it 3-2 after being 2 behind) Anyway for the uninitiated the standings were in the serie a were: Inter:69(points) Juventus:68 Roma:67 All Inter needed to do was to beat Lazio and they would have won the Scudetto (the league) but they lost 4-2. All Juve needed to do was win and it was out of their hands. They won 2-0 against Udinese. A great goal by Trezeguet and a sublime goal by Del Piero. Roma won as well 1-0 against torino. A great goal by Cassano. So to conclude Juventus won the championship, Roma came second and Inter came third after leading the championship since early feburary. Although i have been a fan of Juventus for a long time i was so sad to see Inter lose it. At the end of the programme i saw Ronaldo crying which will, honestly stay with me forever. Ronaldo is one of my heroes. It was also very sad as well because it as the last football italia as channel 4 cant get the rights for it and ive been watching it since the days of Ruud Gullit at AC Milan. Anyway i now have the world cup to look forward to.... The Azzuri all the way ? Football Is Brilliant. |
