"Vince McMahon recently called up Bret Hart in regard to having him participate at the Wrestlemania XX festivities - either in the Hall of Fame ceremony or to play a storyline role in the triple threat match involving Triple H, Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels. Hart was said to be leaning against doing Wrestlemania XX, especially to play a role in the title match, since he doesn’t want to be involved in any storylines. However, he has expressed a modest desire to come back for one final farewell speech. "

Wooooo yeah a mania party would be cool. I'll have to look into that. Anyway time for bret to move on. Most of the fans probably didnt even watch when he was around.

That is acually true but i'd still like to see Bret get the send off that he deserves.

im surprised Bret would even consider it after the way he got totally bum-fucked by Vince. it would be totally amazin tho if he did come back, he was great

"Vince McMahon has made an offer to Bret Hart about appearing at WrestleMania XX. The offer was for Hart to appear and give a speech, not to be inducted into the Hall of Fame or be part of the Chris Benoit angle. At this point, most believe that if WWE decides to put the World Title on Benoit, it will happen at Backlash in Edmonton, not at 'Mania"

I think Brett will only come back for a decent amount...i watched a program on BBC once about he got screwed by Vince!!! come one..BBC2..must've been pretty messed up...Brett kicked fuck out of Vince backstage after Survivor Series 97 aswell...and not in wrestling terms..for real.

allegedly yeah, thats what i thot until i got told recently that it got scripted....apparently Bret wanted to leave and just hand bak his title but Vince wasnt havin any of that, he wanted Bret to get beat so he could keep the belt at the wwe...by scriptin all this screwin over business, Bret gets to leave with every1 knowing he was screwed, in turn leaves as a hero or wotever and Vince gets to keep the belt at the wwe, at the same time, maintaining his "heel" image. therefore, it could easily have been staged.
