I Never Realised The Champions League Final Had Such A Premiership Feel To It

Having just watched the biggest game in World club football yet again the blatant bias of the English media has ruined an otherwise good game.

No passage of play went by without reference to Mourinho-Chelsea, Deschamps-Chelsea or Mourinho-Liverpool. You could have been forgiven for thinking Chelsea were playing. In fact you could have been forgiven for thinking the only reason to game was being played was at the request of Premiership scouts.

They even got a mention of Man Utd's win in (when was that? 5 years ago?) and even more amazingly we were told that the referee was the same man who sent David Beckham off at the World Cup! It was SIX FUCKING YEARS AGO! Get over it!

Morientes also was playing to try and win a dream move to the Premiership. There was me thinking he was trying to win the biggest prize in club football but alas not. Thankfully he was in good company as Costinha, Maniche, Deco and Rothen were also playing for moves to the Premiership.

In case your wondering Costa also spent a spell on loan at Charton and Cisse played at West Ham. You weren't wondering? Ah well...

But the icing on the cake came when the commentator has the audacity to describe the EUROPEAN CUP FINAL as an "interview for the Chelsea job".

I have to agree with ya there but you coulda done yourself a favour by watching Sky Sports coverage.

Although there was references to some english things, they were very professional.

Anyways, i don't think i even notice the English commentators anymore because they seem to mention stuff like that all the time in European games- i think i've built up an immunity to the amount of shite they spout
