It's a true fact though...SOTY do go mental on stage and Godsmack do just stand looking at their feet.However if i was in the situation SOTY were in i'd do the same...just give as much cheek as possible.

I couldn't find anything about this from Godsmacks point of view. I suppose they wouldn't really want to publicize it

, although I would have thought that they would like to have put their side of the story across or even offer some sort of appology

yeah i think godsmack have such serious explainin to do. they were probably just jealous that SOTY were gettn a better response from the crowd than they were. and what's with every1 slaggin off FFAF??? they're makin music and makin a living just like every other band out there. so y cant u just leave them to it

Now, as someone who likes neither band (AT ALL), I would still have to say this is a vile story. Bands should be allowed to "rock out" and do what they want during their own set without intimidation from "piece of shit jock thugs" (lol). If it was me I'd be as pissed off as, if not more than, SOTY. Probably wouldn't fight back as well though. Basically it's just a playground story on a bigger scale; big bullies beat up little feeble weedy geeky boys, because they can. Bullies get away with it, weeds write angry internet rants, attempting to save face. Oh well. Music could do without this kind of shit sure enough; but maybe Godsmack should just never be allowed to play a show ever again? and SOTY should only be allowed to play when there is no one in the audience for them to incite to riot? Might make the world a better place.
