i lost my job today.
the only reason i stayed in dundee this summer.
all the part-timers in fopp were let go.
that included me.
i was doing four full days a week.
my survival depended on that money.

i think i might go and jump off a bridge now.

That happened to me too. I had christmas temp work last year 2002/2003. And they only kept me on till the first week in january. I had to go on the dole for two months before getting another job. Which I still have, but sucks baws.

Being unemployed for any reason is shit, especially when you're not really prepared for it. My work is always looking for folk, but you'd have to want to work in a call centre, or be really desperate before I'd recomend it.

I heard that fopp in dundee was no longer a franchise, and was actually a proper fopp shop. Is this true?

which Call Centre is it? I worked at Client Logic for a year, which was shit, but I've been thinking about going back.
