Parents?

Do you get along with your parents.

I do, most if the time. We have fights a lot because our personalities clash, but all in all they aint half bad.

i guess my parents are alright sumtimes - my Dad gives me fags and doesnt really moan at me that much but my mum is a fucking PSYCHO!! everytime i go home she shouts at me practically the whole time.

Mine are alright I suppose, but they overreact to some minor irritations too much.

My parents are great. They treat me really fairly and are pretty cool. They are also brilliant with my boyfriend and think he's fantastic, which makes life easy!

I love my parents to bits.

When I was younger, and still living with them, I went through the stereotypical teenage phase that is: "my parents are so annoying/embarrassing/evil". Since I moved away, I've:

A: grown up
B: become grateful for the amount of shit they've got me through
C: become thankful that they've put up with me in the first place.

They've always been there for me, whether I thought so in the past, or not.

now I'm not in the house as much and I don't see my parents as much it's of course much easier to get on with them, especially when I get random "I love my wee shnugglepums" phone calls

I get along with mine great (most of the time). I irritate them sometimes and they irritate me in the normal 'parents/children' way. I'm still living at home though, so I have to get along with mine if I wish to keep sponging off them for a little longer

but, nods, they've always stuck by me.

My mum is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet she's so into doing things for other people so normally if we fall out its because her being tooo nice irritates me (which sounds weird but it can get annoying) or becasue she tries to nag me and i give her cheek cause its so uncommon
I don't get along with my dad brilliantly, he's a really proud man and never ever says well done i think he might have said it when i got my higher results and he calls me fat all the time in a serious way. And i had my prom last week and he never even said i looked nice. That's why we fall out a lot, but we had a huge fall out recenlty and he's been making a big effort the last few days...he asked me to go shopping with him today which was nice and he bought me 7up - we bonded
My parents are really good at the whole bringing up thing though, i totally respect both of them

I get on great with my mum..she has no real restictions.just lets me get on with things.
I only see my dad every so often so we have never really got the father-son bond that most my friends have with their dads.

aaaw, thats so nice you all get on so well with your parents! (as sarcastic as that sounds it isnt meant to!)

I have a major personality clash with my mum, we just have the opposite views on everything and are constantly screaming at each other and i get on reasonably with my dad i guess but im not close 2 him at all..... But i do have awesome mates!!
