hair growth
I was making a concerted effort to grow my hair until earlier in the year, when a "trimming and neatening" incident occurred at around the 4 inches mark, and I was forced to chop it all off.
I'm now trying to grow it back, but it seems to be taking AGES, does anyone have any hints/tips/old wives tales that could help me grow my hair faster? so far I've had: don't wear a hat or hair wax, oxygen helps it grow, and eat a cube of jelly every day. unfortunatley my hair looks like a little black mushroom if I don't style it, and I'm too self concious to walk around looking that stupid. and I can't eat jelly, because it's made out of cow and I will be sick. can anyone help? |

Heat helps it grow. Not hairdryer heat though. You have to let a small dog sleep on your head.
A small cat will work, but you have to work harder to charm it. But, they are easier to knock out with a hammer. |

as much as i hate to admit it, i think ure best to get it mildly trimmed every once and a while. ive not had a proper hair cut comin up for 2 years this october! and my hair is in a bit of a bad condition, so get the ends cut at least every couple of months...i try to do this myself but dunno if it works well lol

Hair grows from the roots not the tips, trimming might make plants grow faster but will do nothing to hair. |

just dont get it cut.. ignore the 'get the ends cut' crap.. that's for Dokken fans.
Everyone has to go through a crap stage in hair growing.. when its curling up at the back and over the ears.. but you must sit it out. Its an initiation that one must go through to walk with the kings of metal. |

I havn't had my hair cut for about 6 years, heh heh! I've trimmed it myself once or twice, but thats it really. I think its starting to get to the stage where it won't grow any more, which is crap coz I wanted it really long. But its curly so its longer than it looks. The reason I don't go to hairdressers is that the last time I did I asked for a trim and ended up with the most hideous short hair that made my face look like a balloon
I've been too scared to go back since! |

Ooh ooh I totally know the feeling. I've not been to the hairdressers in over a year now, due to the fact my last visit resulted with me getting *the* worst hair cut in the whole entire world - stoopid short fringe (which I didn't ask for) + curly hair + just a plain awful cut = me not very happy. I've managed to grow it all out now and it's at a fairly decent length but I think it's in not the best condition so it's looking like another trip to the hairdressers is coming. Although, I've found a hairstyle I want that doesnt look to hard for the hairdresser to actually get right. |
