if your a girl you can layer your hair really easily by tipping your head upside down putting it in a ponytail and then just cutting!
unfortunately its harder for boys. im not sure how to layer a guys hair :s |

to layer hair u have to slide the sissors down your hair, it is hard to explain but i know how to do it,The slideing sissor technique is kinda like razor cutting it. it is a good way of layering coz u don't see big silly lines. i would cut it for u greg but somehow i don't think that is going to happen.
p.s the ponytail thing well doesn't work !! |

the best thing to do to layer your hair is to slide the scissor down your hair like molkobitch said, but its hard to explain. just ask a hairdresser how to do it, then get someone else to do it for free, then you'll get it done properly and cheaply (y) |

yup go with the scissor sliding thing everyones talking about!, it doesnt mattter if you make a shoddy job of it cos you'd suit the 'messy' look :P
last time i went to the hair dressers and asked for layers she cut them waay too short and gave me a kinda mullet thing, that kinda thing might have been 'stylish' at the time, but i thought it was pure mingin.....ken |
