Mate, having had a rather close encounter with a badger on a dark coastal path in the early hours of the morning, I'd rather you didn't repeat that word.
It was BIG. I'd say the size of a small dog, and it growled at me and then bolted away. I was told later that Badgers are Britains third most dangerous indigenous animal. Lucky that I'd been so paranoid on the walk home, I was entirely prepared for attack... I ran away. Very fast. |

It's true, apparently pitting a badger against a pair of fighting dogs results in a horrifically bloody spectacle that the badger has a half decent chance of winning. I read it in viz.

And something like wildcats. I don't think any wolves or bears have made a comeback. |
