school subjects and which to drop
I am in a bit of a fix, as at my school we take a levels and highers. i chose 4 a levels and 1 higher, cause in my naiveness i really didnt realise how much work that would mean.
now i need to drop one of these subjects because its just far far far far too much work, and i only get one free period a week, and i have no time to study and no time for my instrument lessons, and no time to practise my instruments and no time to eat/sleep...etc... so which one to drop?!? I would like to do something along the lines of drama/arts/music/journalism/media/fashion etc when i leave school. i am doing a levels: classical civilisation, music, art, english literature. and higher philosophy. i cant really drop music as i am on a music scholarship, and i cant really drop english cause you need that for most careers, and philosophy and classical civilisation are my favourite subjects, and it seems a shame not to do art as my school has the most amazing art department, with really good facilities and we do life drawing once a week, and no one ever fails art. so you see its tricky... so i was just wondering if anyone has any useful information/help of what to do...? |

Is there any specific course at uni or collage you want to do?
If there is, look at the requirements for that and you might find out you only need one or two grades to get in. Or they may tell you one subject you really need to take. If all else fails drop the subject you like least. |
