The Lounge posting guidelines - THE LOUNGE IS FOR DISCUSSION ONLY

The lounge is the place to talk about the general non music(al) day to day happenings in your life, and the world. Topics which have a dedicated forum here on UGS should be kept to those forums. Think of The Lounge as a place for discussion of things that do not have a dedicated forum elsewhere on UGS.

As is the nature of an off topic forum, it's a bit hard to be precise with what's suitable and what's not. As a rule of thumb, anything which can be discussed or debated is ok in The Lounge. Anything stupid should be put in Bollocks.

Topics suitable for The Lounge:

A particularly interesting or humourous event in your life which has the potential for discussion
Requests, as in looking for information or opinions on a given subject
Arranging meetups
Non music related websites (stupid / comedy websites go in Bollocks)
News articles serious or not are ok here, again be sensible and keep daft stuff in Bollocks
Photoshop contests

Maybe it's easier to see what not to post? Check the list in Bollocks to see what stuff goes there. Anything on that list is not to be posted in The Lounge.
