Because you're tired, your lungs don't inhale to full capacity, so you yawn to get a healthy intake of air (I think).
Don't know why we laugh, but I think you can tickle yourself, but tend to not do it as hard as when someone else does it, so it doesn't tickle as much. Just think about when someone else does it, they usually do it pretty hard. |

Yeah but surely not at the exact same second as someone else yawns? I think it's psychological, if someone else yawns, it reminds your brain to make you yawn to keep the air flowing. ken.
