Musical Attraction
can anyone else not be attracted to someone unless they have a really good music taste?
while i was in washington i was speaking to this gorgeous girl, then we got on the subject of music and she liked pop dance music so after that the attraction was gone. and on the other hand, there was a less attractive girl who had great music taste (she actually approached me cause i was wearing my stellastarr* t shirt) and we hit it off instantly. anyone else got this problem? or am i just really too picky and shallow? |

Well, no, i dont see it as a problem. Im kinda the same as you. However, I do like a good challenge of converting someone, but some people are just beyond my help.
On the other hand, sometimes a really mediocre girl can become very attractive if she has impeccable taste in music or if she just happens to get along very well with you. |

Yes. It is possible to fall for people with the worst musical taste ever.
Youve got to be careful to not get complacent or you accept it! "Yeah I know I listen to Britney and its embarasing but you listen to Bjork.." *shudder* |

I think it sometimes means something, music is a big part in my life....but I would never not like someone if I found out they liked Linkin Park.....or maybe I would.

If music means a lot to you then it makes sense that you would like to meet someone that it means equally as much to, especially if they share similar taste |

I dont think there's anything shallow about it. I agree with pretty pumpkin girl, it's just another thing that two folk have in common and it totally helps to have as many things in common as possible, especially something as important as music.
