What happened? T'other nite i was in a pub (back in england) with spanish relative (well they r english but support spain) and they were causing a shocking scene. Then again our family & relatives have just disowned them :/

There is not much to say about it really.

The shocking thing is though, this sorta thing is not uncommon in football even now. In Italy there is a lot of racism still. Going back to 2000 there was a big thing about a player called Sinisa Mijhalovic racially taunting Patrick Viera. He made a public apology for and I think he was banned for a few Champions League games.

What happened on Wednesday is sad. It is a wonder how the Spain coach has not been sacked for this. He is the one after all who started this race issue by calling Thierry Henry a "black shit" to Jose Antonio Reyes.
