they're only bluffing. the decrease in the number of students would not help dundee, and the university knows that.

Maybe it's just because it's in my area of interest, and I'd be interested to hear opinions to the contrary, but I'd argue that the computer games tech course is the main thing Abertay is known and respected for.

If you agree with that, then moving out of Dundee would indeed be a backwards step, when you consider how many computer games companies there are in Dundee. Visual Sciences, VIS, Real Time Worlds, Denki... and probably even more ones I don't know about.

Actually, if I remember rightly that the lack of funds was something to do with one of the building contractor's subsiduraries liquidating, leaving pretty much everyone involved in debt, so not totally UAD's fault (though I imagine a better choice of contractors would have been in order).

I imagine the donation idea was in hope of actually getting the building finished without a mega-wait... though of course I can see why it wouldn't sit well.

Due to the amount of money students pump in to dundee (mainly in pubs mind) then it would be very very bad for dundee to lose the uni, even though it aint a very good uni (even though i somehow managed to get kicked out of it problomatic student indeed)
