My sister's just told me it's fast and absenince (sp) today. No meat, and not much food in general for Roman Catholics today. I've not been to church in over 5 years though. Church things are rubbish.

Well Im from a catholic family and Im reeealy hungry just now.

But thats mostly because I drank far too much last night and im scared that if i eat anything i'l throw up.

Uh, yeah, given that most people only eat them like once or twice a year.

If that was intentional then its pretty funny though.

It was intentional.

Don't know many people who eat pancakes except for on Mardi Gras.

In fact, I know of no one who eats pancakes who eats pancakes except on Mardi Gras.

What is wrong with people??

Now I want a pancake, but I can't have one cos I've given them up for lent

this morning we couldn't remember if lent was 40 days or 4 weeks (like advent). decided it must be 40 days and 40 nights

we decided also that NOONE could give up anything for that amount of time so left it be

I aint the religous type but I will give up "shitty for your body foods" for it.

Might get stuck into a routine that suits my body.

I'm not particularly religious. However i thought giving up crisps for lent wuold be a good idea seen as i eat too many of them anyways; why not do it while everyone else is!?
I forgot 4 hours into my good intentions and had a packet at lunch

I've done that before, mine just stopped working and had to be trained back up. took about 12 wanks before I was working at full capacity again.
