End of the world 2006???

Hey folks,
reading the post about the meteor that's gonna nearly miss earth in 2029 reminded me that my girlfriend is convinced she read somewhere that a meteor is going to wipe out lfe on earth in the year 2006, I've searched online but haven't even read a single rumour (before anyone who watches Corination Twat says it was before that "goth" on it said something about the world ending) so anyway, has anyone else read anything about it?

if the whole world ends i wouldn't really be upset cos everything will end so no one can be pissed off about missing out on life cos there will be none. not meant to sound like a suicidal prick faced wannabe goth or anything but think about it, there would be absolutly no one to mourn or anything so no one would even notice.

unless 1/2 the world surive and hold 'end of days aid' and raise millions for the families who died or lost loved ones. and then jamelia is constantly on crap music channels thanking everyone for their support.
