That'll be interesting. Id love to see the way they discuss it though. Anyway, I dont really understand the philosophy of it. I dont see the point, its so boring. Whats the point in living longer if its gona be shit anyway?

its been mentioned before but i think the concept of straight edge came after someone coined the term in a song or something, its got a history to it, a deeper meaning perhaps, but yes, people have been living 'straightedge' for years, giving the lifestyle a name is just a bit overkill if you ask me. Especially when in practice i dont see any difference to what other 'straightedge' people are living but who are unaware of the cultural status behind it.

Yeah i know, minor threat, straight edge bands and stuff, but as you say, no need to put a name to something like that, it does just give it more of a fadish air to it, and yeah, there a ppl who have been edge for years apon years, but personally i still dont see the point in naming it
