Scarfs, Indoors

right, clear this up for me : Scarfs, Indoors?

who and why?

call me old fashioned, but to me a scarf is a device used cunningly in the winter months to ward off the nippy winds around one`s neck WHILST OUTSIDE.

now, to the best of my knowledge, most indoor gathering places such as, the pub, pool halls and nightclubs dont really carry around neck threatening winter chills, but, a strange phenomenon has started, people are wearing scarfs indoors!

so, can people please clear this up for me, is there some sort of neck disease going about that these poor blighters are victims of, OR, are you all just looking like prize fannys for the sake of, dare i say it - fashion?

bring me up to speed you wacky, crazy, out there hipsters.......

You really have issues about this, aye? I guess it's no different from wearing any kind of accessory, be it a bracelet or a neck adornment. It's unneccesary, yes, but oh.. so pretty.

This seems similar to the dig at indie kids as per the thread regarding The Killers, but.. each to their own. Pure moshers wear pure lang jaikets indoors and I don't whine about it, and pure minks wear Hi-tecs, and pure funboys wear baodywahrmurz, and pure emofags have a wee silk handkerchief in their back pocket and I'm not weeping about those LOSERS. People wear unnecessary things, accessories, whatever, in the belief that they think it looks nice. Let 'em.

Let me tell you this, indoor scarf wearers get a lot of action. From both sexes. And how many Bazs can say that?

Well, what's the point in.. your hairstyle for example. Or getting pierced. Or having a tattoo done.

No real point, just that in your opinion it looks nice, or makes you feel like you look good or in your opinion, is cool. Subsequently you look how you want to look and get sexual attention from people you want to get sexual attention from.

The only scarf I wear is my friend Shona's weird pink one cause it looks so stoopid, annoys folk and that suits me fine. And only wear it if really cold.I own no winter weather aids except a few beanies.

I see no point in wearing scarf indoors cos unless you live in Kosovo most indoor areas have heat.

most fashion accesories i can understand. but scarfs indoors just defies logic! no matter who`s wearing it.

yes people can wear whatever they like, of course they can, this is freedom of expression but compromising practicality over fashion is taking it too far and screaming desperately for attention. imo

I know, I wasn't knocking it, I like you kid, I'm just saying. Scarfs indoors have been hijacked by the fashion brigade, but you know.. each to their own.

Is it not scarves anyhow?

A lot of my friends wear them indoors and they look lahvely.
