Type and Talk
Anyone ever worked in a call centre and experienced a type and talk with a deaf person? Basically someone phones you on behalf of a deaf person and it's a 3 way conversation where you tell the person what to say and they type it to the deaf person who types there message back. Needless to say its a long process indeed. I am on one of these calls just now with an average call time of 8 mins 5 seconds for today (stats are important and ours is 9 mins) I am now 1 hour 10 mins on this call to which I managed to fix the guys connection problem only to just this minute discover its also a disconnection problem too. So i'll probably be on for another hour figuring out why he's getting disconnected.. Man this is a nightmare so I thought I would leave a message of boredom whilst I talk slowly and clearly to some woman who's typing my every word.
It was weird at start cause he came on angry with her going: 'I...am...unhappy....with...the....AOL.....service ....etc etc Yeah but it's not exactly easy but Im a good rep and i'll stay til the end no matter how much this mucks up my stats lol Has anyone else been through such type of call? |
