I know the white dogshit answer only because i was once curious to.

The reason white dog shit was commonplace in many council estates and registered parks "back in the day" was because there was a "white bone meal content" used in many of the popular dog foods. The bone meal played giggidy with there digestive systems and made them shit white. This ingredient has since been removed from dog food and the brown essence of shit was replenished.

I got the answer by texting the question to this odd number i saw in an ad in a magazine. They claim to be able to answer any question. However at one pound a go you may as well be asking "Why the hell am i texting you?".

you also still get Poptarts in spangly blue boxes. And Alf Garnet had a song written about him by Destinys Child. (The shoes on my feet, Alf Garnet, The watch I'm wearing, Alf Garnet).

They still sell them in Argos. Sometimes you get interchangable faces, but now it's things like Bob The Builder and Tweenies.
