road accidents

i've winessed two crashes in the last 4 hours!

walking to college this morning i seen a car smash into a motorbike, guy went flying. and just 5 minutes ago a double decker bus hit my landlords (parked) car. fucking hell. my dad had a near miss today as well.

i dunno, there was people around him keeping him talking etc till the ambulance came. police must have been passing because they were there within 2 minutes. it was a head on collision though, so i think it was pretty brutal. the car pulled out of the junction when it shouldn't have and hit the motorbike.

sorta what happened withbthe one i saw. the kid went into the front of an oncoming car at a junction, smashed his head on the roof before flying into someone's freeking garden on the other side of the road. ow

i hate seeing that, i saw a bad one a few months ago on Kingsway with two lorries. one went into the back of the other and back lorries cab was completely squashed, obviously the guy didnt survive but he was in it when we went passed. Makes me feel horrible seeing car accidents

when i was little i almost got smashed into by a junkie driving a car, but my mum shoved me onto the pavement out the way and took the car instead of me getting hit. i would have died if it had hit me, i was only about 3, but my mum got really smashed up by it, broken nose, jaw, ribs, blood every where bleurgh.

still remember the police questioning me in the hospital, pretty scary, dont like crashes.

god that would be really horrible seeing that happen to your mum

Hope she recovered ok.

I lost one of my friends in a bad smash two years ago. She was in her car driving behind her mum and hit ice. she spun in the ice and a big Land Rover hit her car, she was killed instantly and car burst into flames, her mum saw the whole thing in her mirror. so sad, she was only 17. I'm a wee bit more scared in cars in bad weather now cos it just shows you what can happen.

i was gonna post something daft about crashes until i read that

must have been horrible for her mum, being literally first on the scene and all. reminds me of those crashes you hear about where someone is late getting home and their family or friends are the ones that come across the accident first looking for them. sad story that.

Yeah thats what her mum said, she kept saying it should have been her cos she was right infront but i suppose you'd say anything in that state, think its still hard for her too cos its the last picture she has now and couldnt do anything to help

it happened when she was about 23 and i was a toddler and she still has quite bad facial scars. she always says she doesnt care though, coz it was way better than losing her daughter (me) i came away with a few scars on my knees where she shoved me onto the pavement but way better than getting killed.

my dad's best man at his wedding was killed with his wife in a car crash. his wife was 7 months pregnant too
